Charpak Wins Prestigious Award

 

Charpak is delighted to have won the prestigious SME innovation Award from the NEAA (North East Automotive Alliance) at their recent Annual Awards Event.

 

Representing the Charpak Automotive team on the night was Etienne Dodane and Amanda Melesi. In addition to the award there was a Cheque for £1000 which Charpak donated on the night to a local Sixth Form College

 

 

The Judges for the award said “Charpak’s creative and collaborative culture led the way with an ingenious reusable jigging system, enabling a giant leap forward in the precision painting of complex automotive parts. By revolutionising interactions across the supply chain, they unlocked dramatic improvements spanning quality, sustainability, efficiency and safety”.

 

Etienne Dodane Senior Sales Manager for Charpak said “The whole team worked very hard in collaboration with our key customers and fellow NEAA members to develop a unique, innovative solution for precision paint application. This will make a major difference to a complex issue and create savings across the supply chain” Etienne said, “this was a whole team effort from Charpak with special mention to Russel Tuit the designer at Charpak”.

 

The judges further complimented Charpak on its ethos of using innovation to drive their response saying that the company had “set a new standard in dynamic problem solving to push the boundaries of what is possible”.
